A brighter future is in your hands.  We’re currently seeking a full time Administrative Staff person with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits and Compliance background to assist our office administrative management team. The Admin Staff person will ensure that invoices for vendors and subs are processed and paid according to our Company policy.


What you’ll do:

  • Payroll
    • Enter into payroll system all new hires, rehires, and changes as indicated on Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for hourly Branch employees
    • Enter weekly timesheets into payroll system
    • Identify timesheet and payroll inaccuracies and/or inconsistencies, and determines appropriate corrections. Resolve missing timesheets or inaccurate timesheets on a timely basis
    • Run payroll edits and verify all active Branch employees have been entered accurately
    • Inform Corporate Payroll when entry has been verified 


  • Human Resources:
    • New Hire Paperwork, terminations, and seasonal layoffs
    • I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, E-verify (if required) and Affirmative Action
    • Maintaining employee files according to Company policies, state and federal guidelines
    • Adhere to affirmative action postings and follow up and maintain flow log
    • Administering drug test process - sending employees or new hires for pre-employment, post-accident or random drug test and recording results in accordance with Company policies and procedures


  • Benefits
    • Administering benefits process for the branch - including new hires, insurance enrollment and answering general questions
    • Educate eligible employees on wellness program


 Skills we’re seeking:

  • Minimum 2-year experience in payroll or general HR
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience producing error free and accurate work
  • Strong work ethic
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
