    The Purchasing Specialist will serve as the primary sourcing subject matter expert. The Sourcing Specialist will provide timely and effective support in researching, quoting, negotiating, and procuring all services required. The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for providing supplier relationship management, end to end supply chain support, and cross-functional operational improvements.  

     

    Job Specifics:

     

    Manage contracting lifecycle by ensuring that accurate information and tracking of all contracts are properly and appropriately maintained

    With support of the Strategic Sourcing Supervisor, work with Stakeholders to establish clear business needs apply forward thinking skills to set long term strategies

    Understands sourcing processes, able to implement more than one option: RFX, e-sourcing

    Continuously work to identify and qualify new service partners in assigned markets and service lines.

    Engage service partner leads that we receive through Hubspot.

    Ability to decipher and communicate Statement of Work (SOW) variations and requirements to service partners.

    Continually measure and manage the ongoing performance of selected service partners and their respective service lines.

    Ensures through the service partners on-boarding process that new service partners meet all compliance requirements prior to initiating service

    Ensure timely, smooth start up and initial service on new client accounts.

    Work with Area Managers to replace underperforming service partners.

    Assist National Account Sales team in strategic pricing activities.

    Maintain a consultative relationship with cross-functional business functions (finance, marketing, and operations teams).

    Requirements:

     

    Bachelor’ Degree or equivalent experience in related field

    1 – 2 years of experience in related field.

    Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and manage effectively across a heavily matrix organization.

    Ability to analyze, summarize and communicate data for all organizational levels

    Ability to evaluate and apply the concept of total cost of ownership (TCO).

    Ability to analyze large data sets and extract valuable information.

    Ability to build quantitative models and support decision making

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    Demonstrates a strong financial acumen

    Strong project and process management skills preferred

    Strong time management and prioritization skills preferred
